Terms of Service

The rules for using the Mayflower Judiciary portal. Last updated 8 October 2026.

1. The service

The Mayflower Judiciary portal is the official case-management and records platform of the State of Mayflower roleplay community on Roblox. It provides public dockets and judgments, and authenticated tools for filing matters, requesting warrants, and administering the courts.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You sign in with your Roblox account. Your permissions come from your verified ranks in the official Mayflower groups (State of Mayflower, State Bar, Department of Justice, law-enforcement agencies and the Mayflower Courts). Court staff may also hold a staff account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything done under it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to:

  • File only genuine matters and provide truthful information in filings and warrant requests.
  • Use warrant access codes only as an authorised officer, and never share a code or session.
  • Respect the confidentiality of evidence, internal notes and warrant materials.
  • Follow the court's Rules of Procedure and the directions of judicial officers.

You must not:

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your rank or role.
  • Attempt to access records or tools beyond your permissions.
  • Interfere with the portal, probe its security, or scrape non-public data.

4. Court records

Accepted cases are published on the public dockets and judgments archive as part of the court record. Submissions become court records once filed and may be retained permanently. Decisions of the courts are final within the community's procedures.

5. Enforcement

Misuse may lead to suspension of your portal access, referral to the State Bar or Department of Justice, or disciplinary proceedings under the court's rules, in addition to any in-community consequences.

6. Disclaimer

This is a community roleplay platform. Nothing on this portal constitutes real legal advice, and the courts of Mayflower are not real-world courts. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

7. Changes and contact

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always on this page. Questions can be raised with the Clerk of Court through the official Mayflower Courts Discord.
